Course Requirements for the Certificate

For the PJS Certificate, a total of 8 courses (4 core and 4 electives) are required:

Introductory

PJS1 Introduction to Peace and Justice Studies

Intermediate (choose one):

PJS/SOC120 Sociology of War and Peace
PJS/SOC135 Social Movements

Advanced

PJS 99 Internship in Social Change Organizations
PJS 190 Integrative Seminar in Peace, Justice, and Global Change

Four electives on a particular theme will be chosen in consultation with a PJS advisor.
